you missed something special.
Last Sunday, July 10th, 4 of our brothers & sisters in Christ made their declaration of faith through baptism.
As is the tradition at Henly Baptist Church, when there is water in the creek, we go there to have full immersion baptisms.
A lot of our friends from church came out to witness this amazing event and celebrate the love and grace of the Lord. It was a perfect day for the ceremony and, of course, lunch was served afterward as the fellowship continued

Abby & Morgan McNair both chose to be baptized last Sunday. What a blessed event that was.
We've been watching these two grow for years and now that they are young adults we had the opportunity to share this wonderful time with them.
Henly Baptist Church traditionally baptizes in the creek but none of us are particular fans of "cold water baptism" so Randy & Wanda Reynolds offered the use of their swimming pool with a great hill country view for the ceremony.
